Charley Ray Deason

Charley Ray Deason, 69, formerly of Collinsville, passed away Friday, December 31, 2010 in Tulsa, OK. He was born in Tulsa, OK to Cecil and Lois (Berkley) Deason. He was a retired roofer.

He is survived by 1 daughter: Shelby Rae Deason and her husband Scott Preston of Tulsa, OK. 1 son: Kelby Deason and his wife Andrea of Skiatook. 1 step-daughter: Karen Peters, 2 step-sons: Kevin Denton and Michael Denton, 8 Grandchildren: Cortney Deason-Howard, Kayla Stansill, Christian Stansill, Madison Preston, Amber Deason, Kye Deason, Alli Deason, and Ashe Deason, 4 Great-Grandchildren:Joshua Sexton, Addison Howard, Kaleb Evermann, and Kayden Stansill, 10 Step-grandchildren and 12 Step-Great-Grandchildren. 11 siblings and their spouses: Calvin and Betty Jo Deason, J.D. and Shirley Deason, Bettye and Roy Hess, Nettie and Vernon Hoffman, Garry and Alice Deason, Roy and Deanna Deason, Vernon and Juanita Deason, Bruce and Carolyn Deason, Buel and Sandy Deason, Beverly and Buddy Rogers, and Kathey and David Brown. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife: Reba Deason, 1 granddaughter: Keely Rae Stansill, 2 sisters: Freda Deason and Ethelene Phelps and 1 brother: Raymond Deason.

Funeral Service: 2:30 P.M., Thursday, January 6, 2011 at Cornerstone Free Will Baptist Church, 7770 N Whirlpool Drive, Sperry, OK with Dr. Curtis Linton officiating. Interment will follow at the Ridgelawn Cemetery in Collinsville. Services are under the direction of Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home.
