Charletha Holland 5/5/1942-8/29/2023 Charletha was born in Wichita, Kansas to Emly Juanita (Ketterman) and Harold L. Parker. She graduated from high school in Dewey, Ok. After attending secretarial school, she went to work for Cities Service where she met and married Charles Holland in 1961. They had two children, Matt and Myra. Charletha was a successful business owner earning many prestigious awards. She was an avid fisherwoman and loved to fish with her grandchildren. Charletha could create and design anything. She was an accomplished seamstress, talented artist, and could play any instrument. She recently met her goal of traveling to all fifty states, fishing every place she could. She had a gift of being able to read and understand people. Charletha had a heart for children and created a puppet ministry, traveling all over the region sharing her love for Jesus.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Emly and Harold Parker, husband, Charles, and two infant children.
Charletha was lucky enough to have had a new relationship with Tom Moates who loved and adored her as well. Charletha is survived by her son, Matt Holland and wife, Cara of Kaw City, their children, Brittany Holland Egger and husband, JC, and greatgrandchildren, Sienna and Camden of Mannford, Brady Holland and wife, Kaylee of Hammon, Cooper Holland and wife, Riley of Coolidge, TX, and Ally Holland of Norman, daughter Myra Richards and husband Brian of Bartlesville and their children, Sarah John and husband, Brian and great-grandchildren, Sadie, Samuel, and Benjamin, and son, Ben and wife, Charlsie and great-grandchildren, Oliver and Gwen. Also, two nieces and a nephew that she adored.
She was a blessing to all who knew her and will be missed by many. In lieu of flowers, we would ask you to donate to the Meadowcreek United Methodist Church in Collinsville.
Memorial service will be 10:00 am, Wednesday, September 6, 2023 with Rev. Carmen Stafford officiating.
