Charles David Moreland

Charles David “Sonny” Moreland, 67, of Collinsville passed away Wednesday, September 12, 2012 in Owasso, OK. He was born December 27, 1944 in Wichita, KS to Glen and Lillian (Hutson) Moreland. He had lived in Tulsa before moving to Collinsville 4 years ago. He served in the Army.

He is survived by his wife: Ruby Moreland of Owasso. 3 children: Rebecca Crabb and her husband Thomas of Collinsville, Corbin Moreland of Tulsa and Argie Wald of Collinsville, OK, his mother: Lillian Kelly of Tulsa, 1 brother: Wayne Moreland of Tulsa, 3 sisters: Linda Summers and her husband Howard of Tulsa, Connie Sollor and her husband Curtis of Sand Springs, OK and Glenda Sue Youngblood of Broken Bow, OK. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and Great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his father: Glen Moreland, 1 brother: Donavan Moreland and a step-daughter: Pamela Wald.

Visitation will be 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., Saturday, September 15, 2012 and 1:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., Sunday, September 16, 2012 at the Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Monday, September 17, 2012 at the Shelter Free Will Baptist Church with Rev. David Bilby officiating.
