Charlene Penner Yates

Charlene Penner Yates 79 years of age of Rockwall, Texas went to be with the Lord on February 13, 2016. She was born September 7, 1936 in Byars, Oklahoma, to Kenneth and Reba Penner. She was raised in Oologah and attended Oologah schools. She later moved to Dallas, Texas, where she met and married Tommy Yates whom proceeded her in death.

She is survived by four children, 10 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-granddaughter. She is also survived by two sisters, Norma McMillen and husband Monroe McMillen, Patty Smith and husband Ronnie Smith, all of Oologah, Oklahoma.
She was preceded in death by her parents Kenneth and Reba Penner.

Graveside services will be 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, February 17th at Wann Cemetery in Oologah, Oklahoma.

Services are under the direction of Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home.
