Carolyn Louise Vinson

Carolyn Louise Vinson of Collinsville, OK passed away Saturday, February 23, 2013 in Collinsville. She was 69. Carolyn was born on May 8, 1943 in Tulsa to Robert Stotts and the former Maxine Hobbs. She lived in the Collinsville area since 1977 having moved from Tulsa. She worked as an assembler for Lowrance Electronics until her retirement. Carolyn enjoyed crocheting and collecting Beanie Babies. She married John Vinson and together they raised two children. He preceded her in death on December 31, 1995.

Carolyn is survived by her children, Johnny Vinson of Collinsville; and Tammy Hayes and husband Roger of Collinsville; her Grandchildren, Zackary and Jessica Hayes; and a host of family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, and her siblings, Delwyn Stotts and Rosie Orcutt.

Visitation for Carolyn will be held Tuesday, February 26, 2013 from 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. and Wednesday, February 27, 2013 from 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. at Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home. A Graveside Service will be held 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 27, 2013 at Rest Haven Cemetery in Sperry with Pastor Don Cason officiating. Services are under the direction of Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home.
