Carolyn Lavon Surritte

Carolyn Lavon Surritte, 76, of Collinsville passed away in her home on Sunday, November 10, 2019. She was born in Pryor, OK on January 29, 1943 to Raymond and Iva Mae (Elrod) Jones. She lived in Collinsville for the last 7 years having moved from Hominy, OK. She married Ron Surritte on November 12, 1966 in Stilwell, OK. She was the former owner and operator of several restaurants in Oologah.  Her hobbies were going to the casino, bingo, cooking, baking and antiquing, and most of all, visiting with her family.

A memorial services will be held at 1:00 pm, Saturday, November 23, 2019 in the Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Hermon Wood officiating.

She is survived by 3 children: John Watkins of Tulsa, Coby Surritte of Hominy and Romy Kerr and her husband Ty of Collinsville, grandchildren: Tiffany and Wesley Watkins, Toby and Cassie Watkins, Ashlyn and Casen Largent, Brandon Watkins, Kyndra Simmons, Brianna, Jonathan, and Orion Surritte, Aubrey and Tessa Payne and Tory Kerr. She had multiple great grandchildren and loved each and every one of them.

She is also survived by 1 sister: Phyllis Due and her husband Bill of Pryor and several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Ron Surritte, 1 son: Luke Watkins and 1 brother: Cullus Jones.
