Carolyn Janice German, 88, of Collinsville, Oklahoma, entered the presence of her Lord and Savior on July 29, 2026. She was born on August 15, 1937, in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

On May 29, 1954, Carolyn married the love of her life, Benton Ray German, at Golden Hills Baptist Church in Turley, Oklahoma. Together they built a beautiful life centered on faith, family, and unconditional love. Their 54 years of marriage were a testament to commitment, friendship, and enduring devotion.

Carolyn’s greatest joy was her family. She treasured every moment spent with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She had a remarkable gift for making each person feel deeply loved and important. Whether through a warm embrace, a handmade card, or simply being present, Carolyn’s love was felt by everyone who knew her.

She found happiness in life’s thoughtful moments. Carolyn loved creating handmade cards for birthdays, anniversaries, and special occasions, making each one as unique as the person receiving it. She enjoyed putting together puzzles, traveling and making memories with Benton, and sharing her famous homemade fudge with family and friends. Above all, she loved God and faithfully lived out her faith through kindness, generosity, compassion, and service to others.

Carolyn’s legacy continues through her children, Vicki Long and her husband, Tony, and Don German and his wife, Karla; her grandchildren, Andy and Jessie German, Kyle and Jessi Long, Kayla and Mark Cantrell, and Travis and Kate Long; and her beloved great-grandchildren, Addie, Jake, and Jules German; Hadleigh and Harper Long; Caleb, Cade, Tatum Cantrell, and Alexa Mitchell; and Clara and Brooks Long.

To know Carolyn was to know genuine kindness. She was the heart of her family—a gentle, selfless, and faithful woman whose love knew no limits. She celebrated others with joy, prayed faithfully for those she loved, and found purpose in caring for the people God placed in her life. Her home was a place of warmth, laughter, and welcome, where everyone felt they belonged.

Though our hearts are broken by her passing, we find comfort in knowing she is at peace in the presence of her Savior. The memories she created, the traditions she began, the love she so freely gave, and the faith she modeled will continue to bless generations to come.

Carolyn was truly one of life’s precious gifts. She will be deeply missed, forever cherished, and lovingly remembered until the day we are reunited with her again.
