Carol L. Yearton

Carol L. Yearton of Collinsville, passed away on January 10, 2014 in Owasso. She was 84. Carol was born on September 29, 1929 to Cyrus and Sadie (Herndon) Gover.

Carol is survived by her four daughters, Joyce Yearton and husband Jody Phillips of Collinsville, Joann Setchell of Sand Springs, Betty Bernard of Sand Springs, and Judy Alderson and husband Randy of Collinsville; her sister, Betty Rogers and husband Bud of Galena, KS; 7 grandchildren, Stacie and husband Roger, David and wife Amber, Carisa and husband Tony, Kaylynn and husband Tony, Stephanie and husband Shane, Michael and wife Melissa, Jona and husband Keith; 24 great grandchildren; 9 great-great grandchildren; and a host of extended family and friends. Carol was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Garley Yearton; and 9 siblings.

Visitation will be Monday, January 13, 2014, from 11:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m. The family will be receiving guests from 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m..

A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 14, 2014 at Collinsville Free Will Baptist Church with Rev. Leonard Pirtle officiating. Interment will follow at Ridgelawn Cemetery in Collinsville. Services are under the direction of Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home, www.collinsvillefh.com.
