Carlis Eugene Wellington

Carlis Eugene Wellington, 80, of Prue, OK passed away Wednesday, October 25, 2023, in Prue, OK. He was born July 25, 1943, in Pine, OK to Daniel Franklin Wellington and the former Effie Mae Coffee. He had lived in Prue, OK since July 25, 1978, having moved from Collinsville, OK. He attended the First Baptist Church of Prue and the Assembly of God Church of Prue where he was Deacon and Bus Driver.  He loved anything outdoors including mowing.

Visitation will be 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Monday, October 30, 2023, at the Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home. The family will be present from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Also, 9:00 am, to 5:00 pm, Tuesday, October 31, 2023, at the Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be 10:00 am, Wednesday, November 1, 2023, at the Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Garry McDevitt officiating. Interment will follow at the Ridgelawn Cemetery in Collinsville.

He is survived by 2 children: Carla Cherise Garroutte and her husband Keith of Prue and Randall Eugene Wellington and his wife Daniela of Plainfield, CT. 5 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. 1 brother: Daniel Franklin Wellington, Jr. and his wife Mary Lou of Collinsville and 1 sister: Shirley Ann Boyd of Minola, TX.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Linda Rae Wellington.

Services are under the direction of Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home.
