Buddie Earvin Silcox, 90, of Oologah, OK passed away Friday, December 16, 2016 in Claremore, OK. He was born October 9, 1926 in Colcord, OK to James Burton Silcox and the former Virginia Bell Burgin. He had lived in Oologah since 1983. He was a Pentecostal Evangelist for many years. He loved to garden, mow lawns and to trade things. He never met a stranger.
Visitation will be 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 21, 2016 at the Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Thursday, December 22, 2016 at the Oologah Assembly of God Church with Rev. Kent Jensen officiating.
He is survived by 3 daughters: Margaret Seratte and her husband Red of Oologah, Ruth Hammons and husband Don of Oologah and Jean McSperitt and her husband Ken of Stillwater. 5 grandchildren: Donnie Hammons, Rusty Seratte, Kenn McSperitt, Cindy Williamson and Tammy Gallaway, 16 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by his parents, 4 brothers and 5 sisters, 2 wives: Margie Nell (Doughty) Silcox and Ona Nadine (Walker-Mote) Silcox and 1 granddaughter: Doneta Hammons.
Services are under the direction of Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home.
