Brenda Sue Gay

Brenda Sue Gay of Collinsville passed away Monday, September 25, 2006 in Tulsa. She was 54. She was born on February 1, 1952 to Donald and Kearl Hannon in Talala, OK. She was raised on a farm near Oologah and was a lifelong resident of the surrounding area.

Brenda worked at Verdigris Valley Electric until her illness. While employed at VVEC she met David Gay, whom she later married. They have one son, Kevin Gay of Muskogee. Besides working, Brenda enjoyed painting. She will be missed greatly by her family and friends.

Brenda is survived by her Husband, David Gay of the home; 1 son, Kevin Gay of Muskogee, OK; her parents, Donald and Kearl Hannon of Oologah, OK; 2 brothers, Billy Hannon of Warsaw, MO, and Benny Hannon and his wife Sue Ann of Oologah, OK; numerous nieces and nephews, family and friends.

Visitation is set for Tuesday, September 26, 2006 from 9:00am – 8:00pm at Collinsville Funeral Home. Services for Brenda will be held 2:00pm Wednesday, September 27, 2006 at the Free Will Baptist Church, followed by interment at Ridgelawn Cemetery, both in Collinsville. Under the direction of Collinsville Funeral Home.
