Brad Alan Davis

January 27, 1959 — January 2, 2011

Brad Alan Davis was born January 27, 1959 to James Donnell Davis and Patsy Alan (Geerdes) Davis in Woodward, Oklahoma. He left his life here on earth at age 51 for a heavenly reunion with his Lord & Savior on Sunday January 2, 2011.
Brad’s school years were in Jenks,OK where he graduated from Jenks High School with the largest Music Scholarship awarded at that time. He attended Phillips University in Enid OK.
He met and married Sherri Jackson in Grove Oklahoma in 1988 and they later moved to Owasso Oklahoma.

Brad was a man of many talents. One of his first jobs after school was working with and assisting the Oklahoma Highway Patrol in a new program called Courtesy Patrol. He later combined his love of ministry with Collinsville City Police where he has served as volunteer Police Chaplin for many years. Brad’s love of ministry and helping people were a big part of who Brad was and led him to become an ordained minister. He moved his family to Collinsville where his children have grown up. Brad and Sherri founded “One Way Church and Youth Center” in downtown Collinsville. Their passion was in helping the youth but Brad and Sherri ministered and helped anyone who came to them with a need. Many other ministries developed from the One Way Church, Angel Food, a community food pantry, and NA meetings to name a few. Brad worked as a broadcast engineer but just as much of his time and energy went into the One Way as did his finances. In the last several years he was employed by Shamrock Communications in Tulsa as chief engineer
