Bonnie Lou Gray

Bonnie Lou Gray of Chelsea, passed away Saturday, September 17, 2011. She was 64. Bonnie was born July 24, 1947 in Baltimore, MD to Clifford and Texie Mae (Rohrer) Schmidt. She was the first female Assistant Manager for Wal-mart where she worked until her retirement. Bonnie and her husband Billie Joe have lived in the Chelsea area for 11 years having moved from Collinsville. Her hobbies included fishing, crocheting, and baking pies. She will be missed by many.

Bonnie is survived by her husband, Billie Joe Gray of the home; 4 children, Lori Ann Fox and husband Daryl, Dawn Marie Workman and Tony Carlson, Carol Lynn Younglove and husband Doug, and James Willis Murray; 3 siblings, Charles Schmidt, Carolyn Talbert, and Linda O’Shea; 8 Grandchildren; 6 Great Grandchildren with 2 on the way; and numerous family and friends. Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents; 1 son, William Edward Murray; 2 Great Grandchildren, Jocelynn Renee and Gweneth Lynn Jacobson.

Visitation: 9:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 20, 2011 at Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home.

A Funeral Service will be held 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 21, 2011 at the Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home Chapel.
