Bobby Joe Sligar

Bobby Joe Sligar, 84 resident of Talala, OK since 1947, passed away Wednesday, May 23, 2024, in Bartlesville, OK. He was born July 6, 1939, in Sperry, OK to Phillip Issac Sligar and the former Odessa Cattlet. He married Debra Kaye Cooper on May 10, 1984. He was a self-employed Heavy Equipment Operator, Carpenter, Farmer, and a Jack-of-all-trades. If anyone needed help, all they had to do was call him.

Visitation will be 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Thursday, May 30, 2024, the family will be present from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm and 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, Friday, May 31, 2024, at the Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home.

He is survived by his wife, Debbie Sligar, 1 daughter: Jodi Dunlavy and her husband E.P. of Oologah, 2 granddaughters: Ashley Pate and her husband Sean of Oologah and Macy McDaniel of Oologah. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews: Phyllis Wyckoff and her husband Mike, Larry Sligar and his wife Beverly, Judy Sligar, Rachel Knight and her husband Rodney, Kenny Milacek and his wife Regina, Raymond O’Quinn, Phillip Nutt, Kacina Spruell, Jimmy Hicks, Vana Smalygo and her husband Mike, Gary Paul, Billy Joe Paul and his wife Joy, Bobby Ray Sligar and his wife Debbie Sue, Kathy Walsch and her husband Bob, Danny Sligar, and Duwayne Sligar and his wife Carol.

He is preceded in death 4 sisters: Ada Paul, Betty Sligar, Thelma Hicks and Zady Nutt, 2 brother: JR Sligar and G.H. Sligar.

Cremation Services are under the direction of Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home.
