Bobby Edward King

Bobby Edward King, 71, of Turley, OK passed away Monday, May 11, 2009 in Turley, OK. He was born July 5, 1937 in Barnsdall, OK to Claude Leslie King and the former Martha Shelton. He had lived in the area since 1959, having moved from California. He was a retired Detective for Tulsa County. He enjoyed hunting, working on cars and being a handyman.

He is survived by 4 Children: Diana Cavely and her husband Eddie of Tulsa, OK. Linda King and Lyle Drew of the home, Leslie “Buddy” King and his wife Debbie of Kiefer, OK., and Bobby Joe King and his wife Ruth of Sand Springs, OK.
2 Brothers: John King and Paul King of California and 1 sister: Marjorie Barnhart of Tulsa, OK. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife of 56 years: Bonnie Jean King. 3 sisters: Norma, Peggy and Alice. 2 Brothers: Bill and Jack.
Funeral Services will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, May 14, 2009 at the Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Brenton McEntire, Rev. Gary Wilson and Rev. James Poulin officiating. Pallbearers will be: Troy Dunn, Michael Mohn, Gary King, Buddy King, Joey King, Joshua King, and Leslie King. Interment will follow at the Ridgelawn Cemetery in Collinsville. Services are under the direction of Collinsville Funeral Home.

Visitation will be Wednesday, 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
