Bob Gene Clark

July 19, 1927 — October 20, 2006

Bob G. Clark of Tulsa, Oklahoma passed away on October 20, 2006 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was born July 19, 1927 to James and Rose Clark of Collinsville, Oklahoma. Bob was saved and baptized in 1958 under the ministry of Reverend Clifford Clark. Bob resided in Collinsville, Oklahoma for 23 years then moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma where he made his home for 55 years. Bob worked for Automation for 20 years and TK International for 17 years retiring at the age of 67. Bob served in the United States Army 384th Military Police Battalion in La Havre, France and then Lentz, Austria where he was stationed as an MP and stood guard duty at various train stations and Hitler’s Eagle Nest – a duty he was very proud of - from August 30, 1945 until an honorable discharge on February 20, 1947. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Clark of Tulsa, three children; Bobby Gene Clark Jr. of Tulsa, Marilyn Kay Denny of Tulsa and Gerald Lee Clark of Nowata, eight grandchildren; Talia, Sandie, Brandee, Tana, Chris, Kenny, Kendra and Kristen, four great grandchildren; Reana, Allysa, Taylor and Xander Clark Turrell (arriving shortly), two sisters; Betty Trisler of Wichita Kansas and Lillie Kornexl of Mt. Pleasant, Michigan and a host of relatives and friends. Bob was preceded in death by his brothers; Albert Clark, Sam Clark, Ellis (Hap) Clark, Otis Clark, Harold Clark and Virgil Clark, his sisters; Lela Clark, Mollie Banks and Laura Carter.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 24, 2006 at Crossroads Christian Center in Collinsville, Oklahoma officiated by Pastor Jack Voss. Interment will be at Ridgelawn Cemetery in Collinsville, Oklahoma under the direction of the Collinsville Funeral Home.
