Beverly Ann Louise Spencer

Beverly Ann “Louise” (Burch) Spencer passed from this life straight into the arms of Jesus at the age of 88 years, on Saturday, October 17, 2020 at her home in Owasso, OK. She was born November 10, 1931 to Robert Henry Burch and Hazel Irene (Dildine) Burch in Nowata, OK. Louise grew up in Nowata and graduated in 1948 from Collinsville, OK.

Visitation will be 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Monday, October 19, 2020 at the Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home. The family will be present from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm.

Funeral services will be 10:00 am Tuesday, October 20, 2020 at the Church of the Nazarene in Collinsville with Rev. Tim Odom officiating. Interment will take place at 1:00 pm at the Woodlawn Cemetery in Claremore.

She married Jess (Bud) Spencer on December 10, 1948 at the Church of the Nazarene in Collinsville, where they were devout members and Louise accepted Christ as her savior as a young adult.

To her and Bud’s union 4 children were born: Sherry Denise Ballard, Roger Dean Spencer, Dennis Franklin Spencer and Steven Henry Spencer.

After returning home from several military bases, they made their home in Owasso, OK in 1974. Louise was a devoted wife, mother, grandma and great-grandma.

Besides her parents, Louise is preceded in death by 7 siblings: Robert Burch, Betty Nell Nash, James Burch, Shirley McGuire, Benny Burch, Scarlett Nash and Roy Gene Burch. Also, her husband Jess “Bud” Franklin Spencer. Daughter: Sherry Ballard and a son: Roger Spencer.

Her surviving siblings are Beulah Hunter, LaDonna DeArmond, Sandra Hunt and Donald Wayne Burch of Collinsville, Linda Goodhue of Tulsa and Phyllis Phillips of Claremore. Her children: Dennis Spencer and his wife Elonda of Skiatook, Steven Spencer and his wife Desiree of Owasso, son-in-law: Jim Ballard of Owasso and a daughter-in-law: Brenda Spencer of Ochelata. 9 grandchildren: 14 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends who will miss her tremendously.

Services are under the direction of Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home.
