Betty Jean Smith

Betty Jean Smith, 95, of Oologah, OK passed away, Tuesday, June 14, 2022 in Broken Arrow, OK. She was born May 12, 1927 in Borger, TX to Arthur Jerome Pavey and the former Patience Leona Weeks. She had lived in Oologah Since 1964 having moved from Tulsa, OK. She was a member of the Oologah United Methodist Church where she loved helping with the food bank. She was also a member of the Oologah Eastern Star. She loved gardening, quilting and her antiques.

Visitation will be Noon to 8:00 pm, Friday, June 17, 2022 at the Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home. The family will be present from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm.

A memorial service will 10:30 am, Saturday, June 25, 2022 at the Oologah United Methodist Church. There will be a lunch following the service.

She is survived by 2 children: Melinda Pankey Coshatt of Oologah and 1 son: Scott Smith and his wife Kathy of Talala, and 1 brother: Reggie Pavey of Claremore. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.

Cremation services are provided by Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home.
