Betty Lou Singleton

Betty Lou Singleton, 88 of Collinsville passed away, Monday, September 4, 2017 in Owasso. She was born April 2, 1929 in Bristow, OK to Freddie Fenton and the former Iva Edith McGuire.

Visitation will be 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, September 7, 2017, with the family present from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., at the Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home.

Graveside services will be 1:00 p.m., Friday, September 8, 2017 at the Bristow City Cemetery with Rev. Dr. Thomas D. Schwartz officiating.

Betty had lived in Collinsville since 1979. She was an active member of the Collinsville Community Church having served on the board. She volunteered at the North County Nursing Home for 10 years, prepared taxes for several local businesses and several individuals. She was known for her love of garage sales, collecting antiques, birds and jewelry. She was also an artist.

Survived by: 2 sons: Michael Singleton and his wife Darlene of Owasso and John Singleton and his wife Laura of Carrollton, TX. 1 daughter: Linda Van Voorhis and her husband Ron of Osage County, OK. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband: Delbert Ray Singleton, 3 brothers: Willis, Ben, and Russell and 3 sisters: Irene, Lahoma and Faye.
