Bessie Ruth Goodrich Strong

Bessie Ruth (Goodrich) Strong, 89, of Oologah, OK passed away Wednesday, February 3, 2010 in Collinsville. She was born April 20, 1920 in Waynesville, MO to Herbert Oliver Goodrich and the former Ollie Elizabeth Bowling. She married William Strong on September 6, 1945 and together they raised 3 children. Bessie will be missed by many.

Bessie is survived by 2 children, Jennifer Pullen and William S. Strong; 1 sister, Elva Brummett; 6 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents Herbert and Ollie Goodrich; 1 daughter, Jo Ellen Salzano; 3 brothers, Frank Goodrich, Harry Goodrich, and Wilfred Goodrich; and 1 sister Evelyn Young.

A Memorial Service will be held 10:30 a.m., February 20, 2010 at Community Baptist Church, 2805 S Garnett in Tulsa.
