Berta Joan Torbett

Berta "Joan" Torbett passed away Friday, January 5, 2007 in Collinsville, Oklahoma. She was 73. She was born February 24, 1933 in Vera, OK to Fred and Flossie Miller. Joan was a lifetime resident of the area and worked as a hairdresser for 30 years before retiring. She was a member of the Vera Full Gospel Church. She will be missed by all.

Joan is survived by her Father, Jimmie Sweaney of Tulsa; a Half-Brother, Fred Joe Miller and wife Shirley of Tulsa; a Half-Sister, Dixie Brazil of Houston, TX; Several Nieces and Nephews, Family and Friends. She was preceded in death by her Husband, Robert Torbett, her Parents, Fred Miller and Flossie Sweaney, and her Brother, Jack Miller.

Visitation for Joan will be held Sunday, January 7, 2007, from 1:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. at Collinsville Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held 2:00 p.m., Monday, January 8, 2007 at Vera Full Gospel Church, Vera, OK. Interment will follow at Ridgelawn Cemetery in Collinsville.
