Barbara Kay Shadrick

Barbara Kay Shadrick, 71, of Foyil, OK passed away on Wednesday, January 21, 2015 in Tulsa, OK. Barbara was born in Collinsville, OK on February 26, 1943 to Carl William Dotson, Sr. and the former Dorma Lee Davis. Barbara met and married Andy Shadrick and together they raised 4 children. Barbara worked for Wood Manor in Claremore as a dietary aide and as a home health provider for many years. Barbara loved horses, playing bingo, and the slots. She loved to have family outings and would arrange horseshoe tournaments to compete in. Barbara was a “Grandma Extraordinaire” and would only give hugs to grandkids. She was fondly known as Big Grandma and Big Mama to her great-grand babies.

Barbara is survived by her children Tina Paul and husband Jimmy of Foyil, Andy Shadrick, Jr. and wife Jo of Tulsa, and Colleen Clinton and husband Michael of Midland, TX; her sister Sherrie Alderson of Sperry; 7 grandsons, Joshua Martin, Billy Lentz, Casey Martin, Bobby Lentz, Striker Shadrick, Austin Shadrick, and Dakota Shadrick; 16 great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends. Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her son Billy Wayne Shadrick, and brothers, Keith Dotson, Carl Dotson Jr., Robert Dotson, Terry Dotson, and Danny Dotson.

Visitation: Sunday, January 25, 2015 from 1:30 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Monday, January 26, 2015 from 9:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.

Funeral Service: 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, January 27, 2015, at the Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Rick Brinkley officiating. Interment will follow at Sandridge Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home, (918) 371-2111.
