Barbara LaVerne Nelson

Barbara LaVerne Nelson, 83, of Tulsa, Oklahoma passed away Friday, January 12, 2024 in West Chester, Pa. She was born February 22, 1940 in Delano Ca. to Robert Ralph Rogers and the former Wyvern Amanda Goman.

She is survived by 1 son Boyd Moser and his wife Brenda Moser of West Chester, PA. 4 Brothers and sisters: Jim Rogers, Roy Rogers, Carolyn Bailey and Clare Jean Boyd. She is also survived by 2 grandchildren Mallory and Jenna Moser, and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her sons: Brad Moser and Bryan Moser, Brother: William Author Rogers, Brother-in-law: Ted Bailey, Sister-in-law: Kay Rogers.

She worked in the retail industry and as a courier before retiring. She loved cooking, making candy, hosting family gatherings and singing Karaoke. She was always dressed to the nines with coordinating jewelry and makeup and a smile to light up a room. She never met a stranger!

Visitation will be Thursday, January 25, 2024 from 9:00 am- 8:00 pm at Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be 11:00 am, Friday, January 26, 2024 at the First Baptist Church of Oologah.  Interment will follow at Sandridge Cemetery in Rogers County off of Hwy 20.
