Barbara Marie Goldsmith, 89 former resident of Kennewick, WA passed away Saturday, June 8, 2024 in Claremore. She was born May 16, 1935, in Victory, NY to Clifford Norton and the former Gertrude Shaw. She married Norman Goldsmith on September 2, 1972, in Las Vegas, NV. She attended college in Buffalo, NY and obtained a Degree in Nursing. She worked as a Nurse while she lived in New York. She volunteered for the Kennewick Police department in Kennewick, WA. She was a member of the Wood Carvers in Kennewick and was an avid bowler for many years in State and National Tournaments. She was also very active in the Pasco Church of Christ of Pasco, WA. She lived in Claremore until her passing.
Memorial services will be 10:00 am, Friday, June 28, 2024, at the Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Gary Boyd officiating.
She is survived by 2 daughters: Barbara Zalewski and her husband Gary and Josephine Lightbody and her husband Jim and Norman's son: James Goldsmith and his wife Cindy. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Norman Goldsmith, 1 son: Earl 'Skipper" Grosskopf, 1 brother: George Norton and Norman's daughter Sandra Tomei.
