After school, Arvin served in the United States Army and spent time in Panama, protecting the Panama Canal. After the Army he met his beloved wife Wilma Bagwell. He instantly fell in love and went the next day and got a job at Byron Jackson Pumps. He then dated and married Wilma and became the father of Jenniffer, Annette, Alice, James and foster son David. 30 years later he retired from the same job. Outside of loving his family, Arvin found joy in fishing, hunting and playing dominoes. Those who knew Arvin will remember him for his infectious smile and overwhelming laughter, his deep-rooted faith in Jesus, and his unwavering commitment to spreading love and kindness to everyone he encountered.
