Anna Lorraine (Buford) Jackson

Anna Lorraine (Buford) Jackson passed away January 15, 2007 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was 87. Lorraine was born March 31, 1919 in Bartlesville, OK to Caprice and Ethyl Buford. She was raised in the Bartlesville area, and married Gerald Elliot Jackson. She returned to Oklahoma in the last year from Shepherd, Texas.

Lorraine was a homemaker who took pride in raising her seven children and grandchildren. She also babysat numerous children over the years. She was very proud of her experience as a welder during World War II. Lorraine was very good at it and was even promoted for her skills. This extraordinary woman will be missed by her family and all that knew her.

Lorraine is survived by her 6 Children, Gerald Elliott Jackson and Wife Joyce of Oologah, OK, Glenn Edward Jackson and Wife Karen of Northglenn, CO, George Leslie Jackson of Thorton, CO, Erick Von Jackson of Denver, CO, Gary Dewayne Jackson and Wife Melodie of Shepherd, TX, and Sherry Elaine Jackson of Houston, TX; 1 Step-son Larry Crozier and Wife Paula of Wichita, KS; 16 Grandchildren, Gaylene M. (Jackson) Jones of OK, Robert E. Jackson of OK, Cheryl Lyn (Jackson) Charles of CO, Dianna (Jackson) Burger of CO, Demetrius Jackson of Colorado, Teresa Jackson of CO, Michaela Jackson of CO, Patricia (Jackson) Dickerson of CO, Jason Green of CO, Christine Jackson of CO, Patricia Nicole Jackson of TX, Tiffany Leann Jackson of TX, Robert Edward Jackson of TX, David Michael Allmer of TX, Jeremy Dewayne Mullin of MT, and Joshua Michael Mullin of TX; 19 Great Grandchildren, Candice L. (Jones) Coager, Tyler E Jones, Travis E. Jones, Morgan L. Jackson, Mya J. Jackson, Cody Lobdell, Jeff Lobdell, Aaron Jackson,  Amber Jackson, Robert Burger III, Brittany Burger, Elijah Jackson, Tristan Jackson, Jayden Mullin, Ambre Mullin, Austin T. Allmer, David M. Allmer, Jr., Danielle Allmer, and Elizabeth Allmer; and 3 Great Great Grandchildren, Bryan Joseph Coager, Colton Mullin, Ashlyn Lobdell; and leaves behind a loving 1st cousin, Rosetta Louis (Buford) Gelwick of Dewey, OK.  She was preceded in death by her Parents, Caprice and Ethyl Buford, and 1 Son, Jack Dean Jackson.

Visitation for Lorraine will be held Friday, January 19, 2007, 9:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. and Saturday, January 20, 2007, 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. at Collinsville Funeral Home.
