Anita Gaye Palmer Whillock Berry

Anita Gaye Palmer Whillock Berry, 63, of Ramona, OK passed away Monday, September 16, 2019 in Tulsa, OK. She was born August 29, 1956 in Okmulgee, OK to Monroe Palmer and the former Juanita Crawford. She was a graduate of Collinsville High School where she was baton twirler. She attended North Eastern State University where she also was a baton twirler. She had lived with her husband Jimmy Berry in Ramona for the last 12 years having moved from Sapulpa. She was a music teacher from 1983 until 2018 having taught in Sapulpa School from 1985 until 2014. She was the best flute player ever. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Collinsville and loved buying As Seen on TV items. She was a beloved daughter, wife, mother, sister, aunt and “Gi-Gi”. She loved the Lord and loved serving the Lord.
Memorial services will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, September 20, 2019 at the First Baptist Church of Collinsville with Dr. Tim Prock officiating.
She is survived by her husband Jimmy Berry of the home, 1 daughter: Lesli Whillock of Sapulpa. 3 stepdaughters: Amber Brown and her husband Kenneth of Sapulpa, Dusty Wattenbarger and her husband Keith of Ramona and Hollie Berry and her husband James of South Coffeyville, OK. He mother: Juanita Palmer of Collinsville. 2 sisters: Kathy Jo Davis and her husband Dennis of Glenpool and Melanie Denise Garrett and her husband Gerald of Collinsville. 14 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, 4 nieces and nephews and 3 grand nieces also survive her.
She is preceded in death by her father, Monroe Palmer and a niece, Sarah Davis.

Services are under the direction of Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home.
