Andrew Dale Cary

Andrew Dale Cary of Collinsville, OK passed away on Tuesday, May 28, 2024, at the age of 66.  Andy was born in Lansing, MI on August 24, 1957, to Donald Wayne and Donna Evelyn (Scott) Cary.  Andy served his country in the Marines for 6 years and after enlisted in the Army Reserve. He moved from Holt, MI to Tulsa where he started his career with American Airlines, retiring as an Aviation Crew Chief and Inspector.  Andy was a member of the Collinsville Masonic Lodge #165 where he was a past master.  He enjoyed fishing and traveling and loved to be outdoors.  He could often be found working in the yard or in his shop, where he did woodworking or sharpening blades and chains.  Andy loved spending time with his family.  He often had family BBQs where many memories were shared, and new ones were made.  He will be missed by many.

Andy is survived by his wife Vada Cary of the home; his father Don Cary; his children Shilo Grady and husband John, Trevor Cary and wife Lisa, Shawna Cary and Aaron Sayre, Ashley Auld and husband David; brother, Timothy Cary; sister Jackie Cary; 6 grandchildren, Addison Cary, Atlas Sayre, Josephine Sayre, Waylon Campbell, Austin Campbell, and Hannah Ruth Grady; and a host of family and friends.  Andy was preceded in death by his mother Donna Cary.

Visitation for Andy will be Sunday, June 2, 2024, from 1:30 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. at the Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be 10:00 a.m., Monday, June 3, 2024, at the Oologah Assembly of God with Pastor Kent Jensen officiating.  Interment will follow at Ridgelawn Cemetery in Collinsville.   Services are under the direction of Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home, (918) 371-2111, collinsvillefh.com.
