Alice Harriett Just Wilson

Alice Harriett Just Wilson, 92, Formerly of Collinsville, Ok passed away Friday, February 1, 2013 in Oklahoma City, OK. She grew up in Collinsville area, attended 1 room country grade school and graduated high school at the age of 16 in Collinsville. She married her high school sweetheart in 1939 and started her new life on Main Street of Collinsville. She was devoted to her family, extended family of sisters, cousins, aunts, uncles, parents and grandparents. She accepted the Lord in early childhood while attending the Mennonite Church and became a member of this church after marriage. She was devoted in serving her church family as being Vacation Bible School and Sunday school teacher, in mission programs and supporting the needs of the Church family. She was an Eastern Star Member in the Collinsville Chapter, Business woman owning and operating a dress shop in town over 10 years and strongly supported the activities of the Schools and Community.

After the loss of Woodrow, she found companionship and love with Roscoe Miglore and married 10 years. After selling her home on Main Street, she lived at the Baptist Retirement Center in Owasso and Redland Retirement Center in Tulsa for a short time. Her last 18 years she spent living in the Independent apartment at the Baptist Retirement Center in Oklahoma City, not far from her daughter’s home. On January 28, 2013 she entered Mercy Hospital in Oklahoma City with a diagnosis of Flu having much difficulty breathing. The Lord called her home early morning hours on Friday, February 1st.

She is survived by 1 son: W. Neil Wilson, Jr. and his wife Donna, 1 daughter: Darla Barnett, 1 son-n-law: Harold Schnack. 2 sisters: Betty Smith and Dorothy Duncan and her husband Herman. Grandchildren: Annette Schnack Leckie and husband Rob, Lynette Schmack Williams and husband Clay, Melisa Wilson Brun and husband Steve, Mike Barnett and wife Tammy, Deana Barnett White and husband Greg, and Extended thru love, Gary Elliott and wife Kris, and Zella Johnson and husband Ted. 9 Great-grandchildren and extended another 9 Great- Grandchildren. She is also survived by multiple Cousins, Nieces, Nephews and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents: Edward and Florence Just, 1 sister: Evelyn Nachtigall, 1 daughter: Janice Elizabeth Schnack, Husband: Woodrow “Woody” Wilson and Second Husband: Roscoe Miglore.

Visitation will be 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday, February 4, 2013 at the Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, February 5, 2013 at the Collinsville First Baptist Church with Rev. Jim Carty officiating.
