Albert "Sonny" Franklin Davis

Albert Franklin “Sonny” Davis of Vera, OK passed away Tuesday, May 19, 2009. He was 74. Sonny was born January 23, 1935 in Vera, OK to Albert Glen and Ethel (Jackson) Davis. He was a lifelong member of the area and worked as an Iron Worker for the Local Iron Workers Union until his retirement. His hobbies included taking care of his horses and going to church. He will be missed by many.

Sonny is survived by his daughter Deanna Fulton and her husband Chris; 2 grandchildren, Philip Young and Piper Fulton; many nieces and nephews, family and friends. Sonny was preceded in death by his parents, Glen and Ethel Davis; 2 sisters, Eva and Willa Dean; and 1 son, Allan Davis.

Visitation will be held Thursday, May 21, 2009 at Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home from 12:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. with the family receiving visitors from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.

A Funeral Service will be held 2:00 p.m., Friday, May 22, 2009 at Healing Touch Ministry near Vera with Rev. Jerry Moore and Rev. Ronny Hardage officiating. Interment will follow at Ridgelawn Cemetery in Collinsville. Under the direction of Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home.
