Al Earron Roberts, Jr.

Albert Earron “Al” Roberts, Jr. passed away on Friday, January 26, 2024, in Oologah at the age of 71.  Al was born on October 23, 1952, in Tulsa, OK to Albert Earron Roberts, Sr. and the former Dorthy Pearl Allen.  Al worked for Tulsa Gold and Gems where he was a jack of all trades.  He did more than just appraise the market value of items, such as metals, gems, coins, etc.  He would research to find out any factors that may make an item’s value greater than expected. When he wasn’t working, he loved spending time with his family, especially the grandkids.  Fishing and boating were some of the hobbies they enjoyed together. Al also enjoyed metal detecting.

Al is survived by his wife, Virginia Roberts of the home; his mother Dorthy Akins and stepmother Jean Roberts; his son Earron Roberts and wife Brandy; his brother Rick Roberts and wife Roxanne; his stepsister Debbie McAllister and husband Robert; 3 grandchildren, Brandon, Bradley, and Brock Roberts; 1 great grandchild, Ayden Roberts; and a host of extended family and friends.  Al was preceded in death by his dad, Albert Earron Roberts, Sr.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Al's name to the First Baptist Church of Collinsville Missions.

Visitation for Al will be 2:00 pm- 8:00 pm, Monday, January 29, 2024, at the Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home with family receiving guest from 5:00pm-7:00pm.

Funeral Services will be 11:00 am, Tuesday, January 30, 2024, at Collinsville First Baptist Church with Dr. Tim Prock officiating.  Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Talala.
