Aaron Trave Whitlock

Aaron Trave Whitlock, 89, of Langley, OK passed away Saturday, June 2, 2007 in Claremore, OK. He was born February 10, 1918 in Sallisaw, OK to Roy Whitlock and the former Ethel Skelton. He was a Marine during World War II surviving the attack on Pearl Harbor. He was a Mason in the Adair Lodge and had lived in the Langley area since 1956.

He is survived by 6 Daughters: Laura Summa of Chelsea, OK, Regina Lively and her husband Clarence of Wagoner, OK, Barbara Snyder of Collinsville, OK, Susie Wharton and her husband Richard of Collinsville, OK, Fern Cannary of Broken Arrow, OK. Karen Mitchell and husband Bill of Tulsa, OK, 2 sons: Keith Whitlock and his wife Bobbie of Broken Arrow, OK and Kenny Whitlock and his wife Angie of Adair, OK. 1 sister: Neoma Jean Johndrow of Broken Arrow, OK, numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Loretta Faye Whitlock.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 5, 2007 in the Collinsville Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Hermon Wood officiating. Interment will follow at the Ridgelawn Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Collinsville Funeral Home.
