Herbert Payne Kirkland, 83, of Collinsville, OK passed away Friday, February 3, 2012 in Owasso, OK. He was born November 4, 1928 in Edna, KS to Tom and Emma (Rogers) Kirkland. He retired after 36 from Rockwell International where he worked as a inspector. He was a former Mason.

He is survived by his wife, Lillian of the home. 2 sons: Mark Kirkland of Riverside, CA and Zack Kirkland of Collinsville, OK. He is also survived by 1 grandchild Sydney Kirkland. He is preceded in death by his parents, 6 brothers and 1 sister.

Visitation will be 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 8, 2012 at the Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be 2:00 p.m., Thursday, February 9, 2012 at the Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home with Rev. Hermon Wood officiating. Interment will follow at the Ridgelawn Cemetery in Collinsville. Services are under the direction of Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home.
